Teras executes its first divestment by selling its stake in Mundo Pacífico

Mundo Pacífico (Chile) was the first investment promoted by Teras Capital, together with Linzor and the support of several Spanish family offices. The acquisition of this company took place in September 2019 and in almost 24 months, in a process led by Teras, it has been acquired by the Digital Bridge, the US leading fund in digital infrastructures.

Teras will continue to advise Digital Bridge in its strategy of development and consolidation of Mundo Pacifico as a key company in its positioning in the fibre business in the region. Mundo Pacífico has an installed base of 3 million homes in Chile and serves more than 650,000 customers where it carried out a growth plan that allowed it to triple its network and users in just 24 months. It has managed to consolidate its position as the leading fibre optic operator in the Chilean telecommunications sector.
