Since the beginning of his professional career, Miguel has been involved in business development and innovation departments in different multinationals until he decides to put his knowledge and experience in value and dedicates himself to entrepreneurship, with all the risks that this entails.

2006

He entered the Telco sector with the foundation of the most successful MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) in the Spanish market, PEPEPHONE, which stands out for its totally fresh and innovative approach to the product and services offered to the end customer to date.

2016

It is involved, under a purchase mandate from the MÁSMÓVIL GROUP, in the acquisition of the operator PEPEPHONE, closing the deal in record time and helping the group to grow.

2016–2019

Also in 2016, under the AHI+ banner, it founded a pioneering initiative to build up the cable and wifi sector in Spain with more than 15 acquisitions in 18 months, selling 50.01% of its stake in the vehicle to GRUPO MÁSMÓVIL in 2019.

2017–2020

Advises on the acquisition of UFINET for the US fund DIGITAL COLONY, starting at that time an ongoing activity in the digital infrastructure sector. This collaboration extends over time with three other transactions advised until 2020.

He co-founded TERAS CAPITAL where he is currently actively contributing his experience, generating proprietary operations in which a special DNA is stamped based on innovative approaches, with a high degree of creativity and proven solvency.

Jorge Monforte

He has worked in more than 70 countries, accumulating a wealth of experience in the development and implementation of telecommunications infrastructure projects.

Bio

Although he studied Business Administration and Management, since his first contact with the world of work, most of Jorge’s experience has been in the technical and commercial area of telecommunications. He has founded several companies that have built telecommunications networks in Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Oceania.

This international activity has led him or his companies to work in more than 70 countries, accumulating fundamental experience in the development and implementation of telecommunications infrastructure projects.

His latest project, Towernet, a company specialising in its own tower and DPC infrastructure, was sold in 2019 to lyntia, a leading fibre company in Spain.

In recent years he has been Senior Advisor to the infrastructure fund Digital Colony for Spain and Portugal.

1997–2003

Jorge started his career in the telecommunications industry in the Radiotrónica Group, based in several countries (Argentina, Guatemala, Mexico, Chile and Brazil) and occupying various positions within the Group, from head of production, responsible for fibre deployment, to CFO and CEO of the Latam business.

2003–2007

Founded and leads Calatel in Miami, a company that builds more than 6,000 cell towers and installs more than 5,000 BTS in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. Calatel has established itself as the main network contractor for the Digicel Group, and one of the largest suppliers for Telefónica in Mexico and Central America. The company achieves a turnover of more than US $50M per year, and is eventually sold to Avanzit.

2007–2009

Jorge leads Avanzit’s international expansion from Madrid (formerly Radiotrónica and Ezentis), with revenues of more than €500M per year.

2009–2020

Founded and chairs Cetelnet, the largest network contractor for Digicel Pacific and Huawei Asia Pacific. It builds more than 2,000 cell towers and installs more than 3,000 BTS in Australia and the Pacific region. It is also one of Huawei Africa’s largest suppliers.

Luis Sánchez Salmerón

Luis has developed a good part of his professional activity linked to large infrastructure companies.

Bio

He begins its journey in what was at the time the largest construction company in the country and with the most outstanding international presence: Dragados. After heading the Directorate of Strategic Planning and Investor Relations, he is, as CFO, part of the team that launches a new diversification plan, starting the company’s Urban Services activity, and giving rise to companies that are still today a benchmark in the sector (Urbaser, Clece or the Madrid Incinerator).

Since 1995

he has participated in international projects in Europe and Latin America, many of which have been pioneers both in terms of the concessional organization model and how they are financed in the capital markets. He finished his stage at Dragados as CFO of Valora (a company that brought together all the Dragados group concessions).

1999

He joined Acciona to create the division of concessions, and in four years, he places the company in the top 5 of the world ranking of this sector according to the PWF (Public Works Financing) magazine.

His next stage is as Managing Director of Ferrovial Airports, where he invests BAA, the largest airport group globally, for an amount of about € 24,000 million. This transaction represented a before and after in the airport sector, not only because of its size but also because of the participation of large infrastructure funds in assets traditionally considered public, and administrations’ opening to collaborate with private initiatives on new fronts. Ferrovial airports focused its activity on Australia (Sydney), Mexico (seven airports and a company listed on the NYSE), Chile (Antofagasta), Northern Ireland (Belfast), and England (Bristol). Additionally, BAA participated in commercial development at airports in Australia, Oman, Hungary (Budapest), and Italy (Naples).

2010–2014

He holds the position of Managing Director of Globalvia, at a time of maximum economic complexity that made a remarkable dent in the Spanish market. Thanks to his work, the company obtains financing from international funds to redefine a new business model.

In recent years he combines his professional activity with participation as an Independent Director in Infrastructure and Telecommunications Companies (i.e.: AHI+).

Moisés Menéndez

Bio

He is co-director of the Legaltech & NewLaw ICADE – Garrigues Observatory. He is a regular speaker at courses and conferences at business schools. Advisor since 2019 to BiDLab (Innovation Lab of the Inter-American Development Bank), member of the Board of Directors of the Alastria Consortium, being a member representing Spain in the BEPAB of the OECD at the proposal of the Directorate General of the Treasury (Ministry of Economy).

He began his professional career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) where he gained his first experience in technology and programming, later joining ARTHUR ANDERSEN Asesores Legales y Tributarios (now part of Garrigues) focusing mainly on tax and legal advice in the area of financial services and banking.

He was appointed Secretary General of Banco Cooperativo Español (CAJA RURAL Group), holding the posts of Director of Legal Advisory Services, Director of Human Resources and Secretary of the Board of Directors. At the Bank, he has held positions on the Risk Committees and represents the Caja Rural Group on the boards of Servired and Visa España. Subsequently, he joined EVERIS (reaching the position of partner in his first stage in the company) where he was responsible for the management of the Group’s support area at first (2004). From the legal area of the Company, he subsequently participated in the development of new activities and businesses, being a director of the group’s venture capital companies, Itinvestco, now dissolved, and Fit Invesión en Talento, Sociedad de Capital Riesgo, SA. Enrique Gurrea-Nozaleda

Bio

Enrique holds a degree in telecommunications engineering from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación de Madrid (1988-1994), and is a specialist in telecommunications law from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE-ICAI, 1997-1998).

1995–1998

He began his professional career in Amper Datos S.A., where he developed his technical profile in Research and Development (R&D) tasks with radio equipment for Telefónica and other international clients (Siemens, Lucent Technologies…), acquiring an in-depth vision of diverse equipment.

1998–2003

After specialising in telecommunications law (1997-1998), he decided to broaden his business vision of the sector and joined MONITOR COMPANY (American strategic consultancy), focusing his activity on strategic planning and the formulation of business plans for large companies in the telecommunications and media sector in several European countries.

2004–2009

He started his career as an entrepreneur in the U.S. He (co-)founded and (co-)managed the aeronautical company LTASI, LLC. focused on the development of aerial platforms (UAVs/UAS) with highly innovative proprietary technology, applicable to the military, homeland security and telecommunications sectors.

Santiago Sánchez Echeberría

He began his professional career in the audit department of PWC.

1996–2016

He decided to enter the art sector, as a gallery owner and art dealer, over a period of 20 years. During this time he continued to provide additional consultancy services for Caja Canarias on an occasional basis, and studied areas of personal interest such as financial derivatives and the valuation of companies and specific and unique assets.

2016–2019

He joins AHI+, where he holds the position of M&A director. At AHI+, he participates in a pioneering sector build-up strategy based on the acquisition of local telecommunications operators (cable and wifi operators) and their subsequent integration, a key element in value generation. Thanks to its work, AHI+ concludes around 15 acquisitions, out of a total of 35 assets evaluated. AHI+’s M&A team was also a pioneer in carve-out designs for fixed broadband access networks.

Ramiro Lafarga

Managing Director with a strong financial and commercial background. Extensive experience in telecommunications companies across Latin America (Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Peru, and Colombia) as well as Eastern Europe (Slovakia and Poland). Has led key transformational processes such as M&A, new business line launches, and digital transformation across the entire value chain. Growth and profitability are the pillars of his management, leading high-performance professional teams.

1995–2010

With an initial background in finance, Ramiro expanded into marketing, sales, and customer service within telecommunications operations, both B2C and B2B, in Argentina (5 years with Telecom Personal), Chile (10 years with Telefónica and Endesa España), and Brazil (nearly 2 years with Telesp, Telefónica). Achievements in these markets include sustainable growth in market share, ARPU, NPS, and churn reduction.

2011–2017

As CEO, he led Telefónica O2’s mobile operations in Slovakia for 3 years and later managed Poland’s largest cable operation as CEO for Liberty Global, also for 3 years. His performance is reflected in a substantial improvement in EBITDA and strong growth in customer base and market share.

2017–2025

Ramiro has also managed both mobile and fixed operations as CEO of Entel Peru and the mobile operations of WOM Colombia. Both cases are marked by growth in customer base, ARPU, churn reduction, NPS leadership, and financial turnaround—always backed by a high-performance professional culture.

Ramón Romero

Bio

Corporate Finance specialist with a track record of originating and executing corporate and investment banking transactions and strategic advisory for both large scale and mid-market clients, in public and private markets.

 Extensive experience advising on strategic and financial alternatives in a wide variety transactions and situations, including: strategic/growth acquisitions, mergers, divestitures and carve-outs, capital raising and IPOs, activism/defense, optimal capital structure and capital allocation/return of capital policies. 

TMT (Technology, Media & Telecom) Sector specialization developed as part of the US/Global and EMEA industry teams at BofA Merrill Lynch, covering and advising clients in the Telecom & Digital Infrastructure, Media, Sports & Entertainment, and Education sub-sectors.

2004–2007

Ramón began his professional career at EY, initially in the financial services audit department and later in the Transaction Advisory department, where he participated in multiple financial due diligence projects, advising private equity funds and corporations on mergers and acquisitions. He specialized in business plan reviews and financial closing adjustments in transactions.

2007–2011

He then joined Altium Capital, a boutique investment bank specializing in M&A advisory, focused on the Spanish middle market and primarily on sell-side mandates. Notable transactions he worked on include advising on the sale of Panasa/Berlys to Mercapital and Artá Capital, one of the largest LBOs in Spain in 2010.

2011–2022

Ramón moved to the United States to pursue an MBA at the Darden School of Business (University of Virginia) and subsequently joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York, as part of the Investment Banking team specializing in the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) sector.

In this role, he focused on the origination and execution of M&A advisory transactions, as well as financing and fundraising (both debt and equity) transactions, working with large corporations and private equity funds across various TMT subsectors, including telecom operators, digital infrastructure (fiber, towers), pay TV and streaming, content production, theme parks, leisure & entertainment, out-of-home advertising, digital media and social networks, IT services, and education.

2022–2024

Ramón later relocated to Madrid, continuing his career at Bank of America within the TMT group, covering companies in the EMEA region, with a focus on telecommunications and digital infrastructure, media & entertainment, and leading the coverage of the education sector in the region.

In 2024, he joined Teras Capital, bringing specialized expertise and extensive experience in corporate and financing transactions, as well as deep knowledge of the TMT sector.

Pablo Ávila

Since joining TERAS, Pablo has executed more than 15 acquisitions of telecommunications operators and has been actively involved in the investment and divestment strategies of portfolio companies. He is an active member of the Steering Committees for fiber optic and data center projects.

2005–2012

He began his professional career in the Swiss cement group Holcim as a commodity trader specialising in solid fuels (coal and petroleum coke). Covering a wide geographical area (Europe, Mediterranean, North America and Latin America), he developed a strong commercial and international profile.

2012-2015

Holcim moves him from Madrid to Singapore where he expands its commodities portfolio and geographic area, being directly responsible for trading in the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and the Indian Ocean Islands as far as Madagascar. Here he stands out for his business development capacity, closing the largest cement contract to date in the Indian Ocean, and for implementing a new tenders system that doubled Holcim’s trading flows in Australia.

2015–2016

Holcim sponsors his EMBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Hong Kong campus), and promotes him to Executive Assistant to the President Asia. This position is used by Holcim to develop young talent in order to position them for senior positions within the Group.

2017–2018

Chosen to create a new business for Holcim based on industrial franchising of cement companies. Sets up a new global division of the Group from scratch, closing a first contract in Japan that guarantees a positive cash flow for five years, and signs partnership agreements in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Peru and Guatemala.

Gonzalo Huarte

Since joining Teras, Gonzalo Huarte has been actively involved in the acquisition and monitoring of multiple fiber optic operators and data centers for the company’s platforms, leading the financial analysis of assets and executing M&A processes from initial negotiations to transaction closings. Between 2019 and 2021, he was a member of the Steering Committee for the asset Mundo Pacífico. He is currently a member of the Steering Committee of Templus.

2015–2019

Gonzalo worked as an associate in the Corporate Finance department in KPMG focused on mergers and acquisitions. Amongst others, worked on the whole process of M&A transactions, valuations (DCF, trading comps, LBO), on both buy-side and sell-side transactions mostly for Private Equity firms. Completed transactions within energy, healthcare, industrial, leisure and consumer markets sectors.

2019–2023
