ICG, an alternative global asset manager, and Teras Capital, have launched Templus, a regional Data Center platform led by Nacho Velilla, former Global VP and Managing Director of Spain for Equinix and former president and co-founder of Spain DC, the Spanish Association of Data Centers.  The platform starts its activity with five operational Data Centers, including the locations of Madrid, Malaga and Seville, and with an installed capacity of 15MW.

Templus is Southern Europe’s first state-of-the-art, sustainable, regional Data Center platform. A new business model based on proximity to end customers, data security, and the highest standards of energy efficiency. The company’s goal is to become the leader in the colocation sector in Southern Europe, with a network of more than 20 Data Centers.
