Enrique Gurrea-Nozaleda

Bio

Enrique holds a degree in telecommunications engineering from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación de Madrid (1988-1994), and is a specialist in telecommunications law from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE-ICAI, 1997-1998).

1995–1998

He began his professional career in Amper Datos S.A., where he developed his technical profile in Research and Development (R&D) tasks with radio equipment for Telefónica and other international clients (Siemens, Lucent Technologies…), acquiring an in-depth vision of diverse equipment.

1998–2003

After specialising in telecommunications law (1997-1998), he decided to broaden his business vision of the sector and joined MONITOR COMPANY (American strategic consultancy), focusing his activity on strategic planning and the formulation of business plans for large companies in the telecommunications and media sector in several European countries.

2004–2009

He started his career as an entrepreneur in the U.S. He (co-)founded and (co-)managed the aeronautical company LTASI, LLC. focused on the development of aerial platforms (UAVs/UAS) with highly innovative proprietary technology, applicable to the military, homeland security and telecommunications sectors.

2010–2012

He participates as technical advisor in various projects in Spain.

2013–2019

(Co)founds and (co)leads Spotting Brands Technologies, S.L. (2013) and, in a second step, AHI+ Group (2016), with the objective of leading the consolidation process of the local operator sector in Spain, and holding the positions of Chief Technical Officer (CTO), Deputy-CEO and member of the Board of Directors. AHI+ has developed a successful sector build-up (M&A) strategy, completing 15+ transactions since 2016 and generating a pipeline of defined future acquisitions. In addition, it established a unique industry-wide agreement with Everis (NTT Data) to manage the integration process of the acquired companies.
